Great Sandals! Narrow seems fine for me! My first pair of Birks are regular width. I did have to tighten the straps quite a bit and the arch is quite high - still pretty comfortable of course. I have now purchased two additional pairs of birks - both narrow. My first narrow pair, I bought in a store and did not even realize were narrow until I had been wearing them for weeks. I guess my point is - I have never considered my feet to be narrow, they are pretty normal width and the narrow birks work fine for me. I read somewhere that birks narrow is for foot widths A-B. I am a solid B (and even have a slight bunion on my left foot) and they are not snug at all - my foot fits nicely in the footbed. I guess all feet are different, but you may want to at least try it. If you have a chance to go to a local store to try the narrow fit, I think you'll be surprised. I would also order down a size. I am a 10 and wear a size 40 which shows on the charts as a 9. So comfortable, cute and last forever.
